This is all about you - learning to integrate mindfulness, resilience, and self-compassion into your life.
Personal development is not an end in itself, but a tool for readying ourselves to better assist others and the world, creating a better life for all. Life and business challenges are windows of opportunity that can motivate us toward that kind of personal transformation.
The world greatly needs people who are actively working to increase compassion, equality, and fairness. This is a time for women to use their natural skills of connection, compassion, and commitment, leading the way to positive change. I teach and coach in line with this value system and with the intent of guiding others along this path.
As a clinical psychologist, I spent many years helping people develop inner tools so that they can better manage life’s challenging times in their personal and work lives. Much of that work has been with women, including a number of women in mid to high-level management.
Several years ago, I met a series of my own challenges that helped me clarify and expand my work further. Within eighteen months, I left friends, home, and a private practice; moved to another state; lost my father; and helped my mother deal with her ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) and transition from this world. I stepped out of the clinical world and now integrate my knowledge of resilience, mindfulness, and self-compassion with my understanding of emotions and personal transformation. My focus has become coaching and training.
By helping women expand their resilience, balance their lives, and engage the stillness within, perhaps we can all help move the world forward. I feel honored and am always deeply touched when I am allowed to be part of someone’s journey.
